Karola Hawk

As a creative filmmaker and stylist, Hawk utilizes her exceptional expertise within the film industry to transcend complex projects from development to completion, while telling compelling and artistic stories. She is also able to develop branding strategies using analytic tools and creative processes; create marketing/promotional campaigns to secure distribution; write and develop scripts/editorials; supervise and direct a team of crew members. 

Hawk has worked on several notable projects over the last 12 years mainly in Los Angeles, the Caribbean and Miami. Her desire to consistently tell engaging stories, spear-headed the development of a unique film script and also assisted in raising a remarkable 1.2MM from private investors for the production of Riding 79 (official selection of the San Diego film festival, RIFF and Alianza Francesa). She has also produced documentaries (including Chupacabras); Animation/short film (including Pasaje); and assisted in the Wardrobe department for 20th Century Fox (Runner Runner), Universal Pictures (Fast & Furious), GK films (The Rum Diary), Revelation films (El Cantante) and Miramax films (Havana Nights).
